Custom design rug

The ‘Zeist’ bespoke rug was designed for a private apartment at the heart of Budapest, renovated by the architect Pei Yeong (Wydesign). Beautiful pieces of fine art and design furniture can be found in every room from both Hungarian and foreign designers.
The hand-woven wool rug contains curved geometric shapes paired with restrained but cheerful shades that match the tone of the apartment. The rug is also made special by the variety of flat woven and hand knotted textures.

The rug was featured at the Octogon Magazine 2021/2

Festive textile collection

At the auction called Art-Craft-Design of the Mosoly Foundation, artists are highlighted who work in the fields of fine art, design and the frontiers in between, for which customers who support a charitable cause can bid. This unique design festive textile collection were made at the request of Mosoly Foundtaion, and were listed at the charity auction in 2020th winter. To match the mood of the winter holidays, this decorative table set is made of elegant Parisian blue cotton with a little shimmery addition, mallows and bright mint green. The collection consists of a tablecloth, four elegant kitchen towels and a set of twelve textile napkins that can be varied according to the menu and the number of guests. Kitchen towels can be used well for serving freshly baked breads and pastries.

Bespoke textiles for Bagatelle Gardenhouse

At the heart of the XII. district in Budapest, the former Semler Villa built in the 1930s was abandoned for a long time, until it was bought by the owners of the adjoining Villa Bagatelle and the Bagatellini bakery. The building was reborn as a boutique hotel, where the basic concept was to create homely spaces. Among the famous design brands, home decor pieces of Hungarian designers were also integrated into the interiors. During the project, Krisztina enriched the spaces with several unique rugs, woolen blankets, and custom made hand-woven decorative pillows. A small-series handwoven kitchen textile collection was also made with table runners, textile napkins and kitchen towels that serve the comfort of visitors and tasteful service in the Gardenroom common area.

Tapestry „Three hundred Forint”

The tapestry version of the artist Judit Fischer’s painting made to order for Kisterem Gallery. Her style is recognized by meticulous, realistic details enriched with picturesque color patches. For the detail-rich textile, the picture was woven with a slightly denser warp than usual with French hachure technique. Fine details were added to the picture with a few more stitches after the tapestry was completed.

Woolen blanket and handwoven one of a kind cushions

The „Gusty” woolen blanket and the custom made throw pillows matching in design were made at the request of Mosoly Foundtaion. They are made of extra fine merino wool. The double sided “Gusty” blanket has a natural pattern with sunny yellow and various shades of blue. The patterns of the cushions are also evokes a natural effect with it’s detailed pattern which were handwoven on a dobby loom.

Handwoven bespoke rug

Green and bitter-blue wool rug with beige details and geometric pattern. The rectangular design is complemented by fine tiny lines. The rug is made entirely by hand as a double weave, meaning both sides of the rug can be used and the back is the opposite color as the main side.
