Manufacturing the selected variation is exclusively to order, which takes 2-9 weeks, depending on the product.

The designer area rugs category includes products that are unique not only in their size and color but also in their pattern. When making custom carpets, we mainly work with hand weaving. If the design requires it (for example, the rug has a special shape), we also undertake the design of a hand tufted rug. The design of the patterned rug is original and unique in every case. We guarantee that, if requested, the unique and unrepeatable work of art will never be produced again for another customer.

Premium materials

We prefer to use premium quality New Zealand or European merino wool yarn to create designer area rugs. A great feature of wool is that it can be dyed to beautiful shades, and we also prepare individual dyeing of the desired tones according to the patterns. One of the beneficial properties of wool is that it regulates the humidity of the air in the room without us noticing it, thereby creating a healthier climate. In addition, it is naturally flame-resistant and difficult to ignite in the event of an emergency.

Unique colors

Primarily, we use high-quality wool to make custom rugs, which can even be dyed in a unique shade of color. We usually choose the colors from a sample catalog, which is available in the studio’s workshop (6. Kapitany Street, 1123 Budapest, Hungary). On the other hand, if required, a personal meeting can be arranged with Krisztina in Hungary at your home or at the future location of the designer rug, depending on the location.

Custom size rugs

For handwoven carpets, the maximum width currently available is 245 cm. For hand tufted carpets, 335 cm is the maximum available width. The length of the rug can be any size in the case of weaving, in the case of tufting, we maximize the size around 400 cm depending on the design. If you want a wider carpet than this, depending on the pattern, it is possible to create a designer piece by sewing it together.

Deadlines

Depending on the complexity of the rug and the number of colors used, the rugs are usually made in 8-12 weeks. Knowing the ideas and parameters of the carpet, we can give you a more precise deadline, which is included in the price offer in all cases. We also send our customers step-by-step photos of the carpet’s readiness so that they can follow the progress.

We strive to design and manufacture rugs that represent only high quality in terms of material and contemporary and timeless aesthetics. The pieces created by Krisztina (the applied artist of the studio) even sell at auctions. This way, you can be confident that a unique rug not only embellishes your home and makes it cozier, but also represents value in the long term.

Sample making

If we need to realize an unusual or previously unprecedented idea, or if you just want to see the vision of your future designer rug in material, we provide a sample production. In general, we prepare a selected 30×30 cm section of the rug according to the design, using the recommended technology and material.
