Our carded wool blankets are woven in a partner workshop in the EU, using 100% Central European merino wool.

The thick wool blankets have been tested by ÉMI-TÜV SÜD laboratory (reg. no: NAH-1-1351-2015) and received a 1st-class rating. They are made from 100% wool.

The yarns used to weave the blankets were dyed in compliance with REACH regulations and are free of harmful substances like azo dyes. They also meet OEKO-TEX® standards.

The wool comes mostly from organic farms in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, where sheep graze freely and are shorn once a year.

Wash at max. 40°C. Do not bleach! Do not tumble dry! Iron at medium temperature (approx. 150°C). Dry clean with tetrachlorethylene.

The fabrics woven with jacquard technology are produced in the European Union and then processed in a Hungarian finishing plant. After that, the ready-to-sewn fabrics are cut, hemmed and decoratively stitched in the studio workshop.

The hand-woven soft blankets are woven in our textile design studio using hand looms.

All yarns used to weave the soft throw blankets are professionally dyed, free of harmful chemicals (e.g., azo dyes), and meet OEKO-TEX® or GOTS standards depending on the blanket.

Depending on the type of the blanket, we use extra-fine merino wool or high-quality long-staple cotton for weaving. Product composition is listed on each item’s product page under the Product Info tab.

The machine washable throw pillow inserts are filled with siliconized polyester fiberballs and covered in cotton canvas.

The siliconized polyester fiber fill is a synthetic fiber treated with silicone to enhance durability and reduce allergen buildup. This silicate substance hardens the polyester fibers, making them more resistant to bacteria and dust accumulation and keeps it’s shape longer.

Siliconized polyester fiber balls have properties that prevent the attachment of dust mites and bacteria, which is why they are considered antimicrobial and hypoallergenic. Polyester filling is resistant to mold and mildew and holds its shape better than cotton filling. The decorative pillow inserts available in the webshop are machine washable and retain their shape for a longer period of time due to the properties of the filling and the higher filling weight.

An anti-allergenic pillow insert means that it does not contain naturally occurring, allergy-causing materials such as feathers or wool, which can be common allergens. Instead, it has a synthetic, breathable, easy-to-clean filling (such as siliconized polyester balls) that does not encourage dust mites and is machine washable. This is especially beneficial for people with sensitive skin, allergies or families with small children.

A kivitelezési idő a projekt méretétől és komplexitásától függ. Egyedi szőnyegek esetében általában 4–8 hét a határidő, míg a kisebb textíliák 2–4 hét alatt elkészülnek. A várható pontos kivitelezési időről minden esetben előzetesen tájékoztatást adunk a projekt részleteinek ismeretében.

Yes. For any product related paper accessories, such as hang-tags, we choose a local FSC certified printing company with the intent of supporting the preservation of our forests. We pack our products in recycled paper boxes, tissue paper, and use paper-based tape to seal the boxes. We try to minimize waste during product transportation, and the materials we choose ensure that all packaging is 100% recyclable as paper waste.

If you no longer need the packaging, please collect the resulting paper waste selectively!

The GOTS is recognized as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well. Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibers can become GOTS certified. All chemical inputs such as dyestuffs and auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological criteria.
