For Krisztina, who competed as a synchronized swimmer for years and spent more time in the water than others probably do in a lifetime, this element is a homely, valued resource. By working with the collection pieces, she translates the positive energy associated with it into the language of fibers, considering the familiar and beloved Balaton as her main inspiration.

The hues and unique atmosphere of the largest lake of Central Europe, which change by the time of the day, are reflected in the colors and patterns of the textiles, offering links to the natural environment. The water tones and the characteristic “Balaton color” are complemented by the shades of sunsets, winter atmospheric phenomena, and the typical vegetation of the landscape.

In addition to the color therapy effect, soft wool and the spatial arrangement of the repetitive patterns also stimulate tactile perception. The deliberate choice of material provides a different temperature sensation depending on the weaving pattern and thickness.
